OUR STORY

On July 10, 2005, Crossroads Church held its first worship service in the Wheeland Center in Jersey Shore. Within just a few years, we grew from 63 attendees on the very first Sunday to nearly 300. Soon, the church moved into larger quarters at the Jersey Shore YMCA, where volunteers routinely set up 550 chairs for worship.

In 2005, Crossroads implemented our GroupLife Ministry so members could study together, learn from one another, and support one another in small groups. Now, the number of small groups has more than doubled, and over 60 GroupLife Leaders bring people together who have similar spiritual interests. Group topics range from Divorce Care, Intimate Life, Love, and respect to a variety of others. We have over 300 people who meet for home studies every week.

In the winter of 2007, Crossroads Church purchased over 60 acres of land in Antes Fort. The Board of Overseers, in cooperation with a team of consultants and architects, has finalized building plans and designs for the development of our new facility. Ground-breaking occurred in November of 2008.
We moved to our new location, near Antes Fort, in October of 2011.

Crossroads is also committed to providing children with a strong spiritual foundation. Crossroads Kid’s Club is the Children’s Ministry, which meets on Sunday mornings during worship, and Crossroads Student Ministry is the Youth Ministry, which meets every Sunday and Wednesday night.

Crossroads believes that nobody should be left behind. We strive to be Jesus's hands and feet! None of this would be possible without the leadership of Jesus Christ, the Overseers, the staff, and the multitude of volunteers who give sacrificially to our church's mission.

In 2018, we opened our Muncy Campus, an extension of Crossroads Church. The Muncy campus has all the heart and passion of Crossroads Church to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
